Editors Nominated for Mercury Music Prize

Editors have received a nomination for the 2006 Nationwide Mercury Prize for their debut album 'The Back Room'.

The Nationwide Mercury Prize celebrates the year in music.
Amongst others, artists also included in the shortlist are:

Guillemots
Richard Hawley
Thom Yorke
Arctic Monkeys
Sway

The winner of the 2006 Prize will be announced at the Nationwide Mercury Prize Show on Tuesday 5th September. There will be programmes on Radio 1, BBC 2 and BBC 4.
