Prefab Sprout

The most label-defining act on Kitchenware is surely Prefab Sprout. Fuelled by the virtuoso songwriting of head Sprout Paddy McAloon, the band have been making classic albums since their 1984 debut “Swoon”. Their second album “Steve McQueen” became the soundtrack to many lives and is a genre marking moment. However, many critics argue that their later work is even more impressive. The very essence of Kitchenware’s ethos, McAloon remains a master of his craft.
