The video was shot by Ray Kay, the director boasting Destinys Child’s Soldier and Cassie’s Me an You videos. This months Rewind magazine has an interview with the girls who are now in rehearsals for their summer shows. Radio 1’s 1XTRA DJ G.Child has been the first to play Club LA LA quickly followed by Galaxy’s Wayne Mc Donald. Club LA LA hits the clubs next week, so get requesting!

Established in 1982, Kitchenware Records was the recording wing of The Soul Kitchen, a once in a blue moon club ran by burgeoning music, film and fashion makers, which hosted the likes of Aztec Camera, The Fire Engines and New Order. The somewhat unconventional playlist extended from The Velvets through Orange Juice to Parliament and a Soul Kitchen night would often feature a film show or a photo gallery rather than a support act.
